I adore reading about the Night Huntress world and this was no exception. I've loved Spade through-out all of the Cat and Bones books and it was great to get to dive more thoroughly into his head and his world. Denise is such a great character as well. After the tragic death of her husband, Randy, she's swore off the supernatural world. But after a visit from a demon, she is thrown into the deep end, with only Spade to hold her up. Along the journey, Denise really finds herself and turns into her own kick-ass chick. Great read!
