The atmosphere and pace of Blood Magic were exactly what I love, beautiful and haunting, yet fast paced and fun-filled as well. Silla is handed a journal of her fathers' that is filled with spells after her father and mother's death. She soon pulls herself, and those around her, into a whirlwind of danger, in a magically bloody ride she never expected.
