I have been looking forward to it ever since I read the devastating cliffhanger to A Touch Mortal. I was not disappointed. Leah Clifford has woven a twisted, crazy world that sucked me in and didn't let me out. I love how the traditional angel/demon tale is made into something so new and totally unique.I adore each character, even the bad guys! Eden is strong and bad-ass, yet still vulnerable and conflicted. Az, oh Az, he is the sexy sexy boyfriend that any girl would want. Their date scene literally had me swooning! Gabe is the ultimate sacrificer. Luke, well, he's Lucifer, so of course he's the eternal bad boy, but he is oh so steamy and drool-worthy. Kristen is still her twisted self, though she is going through quite a hard time. I love her and her twisted mind! My favorite character of all has to be the damaged good guy, Jarrod! He is just so protective, and sweet, and cute! A Touch Mortal is dark, edgy, exciting and emotionally-charged! I was never sure what was going to happen next, or why characters were making the decisions they were, and when it all came together, I was blown away! Left with another crazy ending (but thank-goodness not as bad as last time!) I can not wait for the final installment in this series to see what is in store for us next! If you like your YA a little dark and twisty I recommend this series for you!
