Take a Bow

Take a Bow - Elizabeth Eulberg Find more of my reviews at www.readingangel.comI have read and adored both of Elizabeth Eulberg's other books, The Lonely Hearts Club and Prom and Prejudice. I was beyond excited to get my hands on another book by Eulberg and dive in. I was not disappointed. I devoured the entire thing in just a few short hours. I could not put it down. I loved how each chapter would switch point of view between each of the main characters. We got both two very different girls, and two very different guys, as our narrators throughout the book, and it just made for such a rich and amazing story. All these kids are going to the same school, with what you would imagine would be the same goal that they are striving so hard to achieve, but it such different personalities and roads that lead them there. The way all their lives intertwine was just done so beautifully as well. The love story in Take a Bow has to be my favorite part. We are for sure not talking about insta-love here people. This is one great tale of friends, and struggles, and really deciding where your heart lies. I adored the relationships in this book. The four members in the band were such great characters, and the bits that they did where one would predict the rise and ultimate demise of their band was so funny!Take a Bow was an emotional, heartfelt story of a group of kids trying to find their way to who they really are. If you are a fan of contemporary or music this is one you will not want to miss!! I just can't put into words how much I loved Take a Bow, but I will say that if you are going to read a contemporary book this year, let it be this one!
